Useful Links & Resources

Recently, people have been asking where I get the info I share from, so here’s a list of some of my favourite sources, I’ll try to keep it updated.

If you would like to be featured here or are aware of a useful resource that I have not listed, please contact me with a link and I’ll happily take a look and feature the site if you think it will be helpful to followers.

Because I am UK based, I would be particularly grateful for links to crisis and support organisations in other countries, as I have many international followers and I know that access to mental health care varies widely around the world.

My Other Pages:

As well as this site, I run a Facebook Page, Borderline Personality Disorder Positive where I share mental health related news, information and inspirational stuff, as well as my art work.

More recently I have also become a contributor on The Mighty, I have already had several articles published and more in the pipeline.

In addition I am expanding my advocacy work to doing a little bit of commissioned vlogging for a Clinical Psychology training course. These videos will be publicly available, and so I will add a link here when they are released.

Crisis Support:

I am not a qualified mental health professional, so I am not able to offer personal support or advice via this website. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please use the information below.

Mind actually have an excellent page on how to access all kinds of mental health crisis support in the UK, so I am not going to recreate that information here.

The Samaritans (UK) offer 24 hour telephone support to people who are feeling suicidal; I have personally found them very helpful.

The Blurt Foundation have recently published a great guide on what you can do if you or someone you know is in crisis

The AntiParrot pixies work day and night to bring you this and all of our other treats, and sadly all we get paid is fairy dust. Unfortunately fairy dust doesn’t go far in the real world, so any kind donations (however small) would help us to keep doing what we do, and even to do it better!
